Here's something a little different, thematically, then what I usually do. It's a figure I made for my Mother's birthday. When the raccoons around here get desperate for food, they'll climb the branches of our lilac bush to get at, and pillage, the bird feeder, bending the heck out of the metal pole holding it up in the process.
Newsprint, Kleenex, cardboard from a cereal box, transparent plastic from a Transformers toy package, wax crayon shavings, white glue, crazy glue, a wire twist tie, nail polish, fishing line, and acrylic paint.
Dimensions (excluding hanging wire):
5.5 cm/2.2 in. x 8.6 cm/3.4 in. (widest point x highest point)
Two days; October 25 and 26, 2009.
