Ghost Rider 2099 Custom Action Figure

Custom #:17912
Name:Ghost Rider 2099
Custom Type:Action Figure
Toy Series:Ghost Rider
Creator:wesr
Date Added:October 27, 2009
Base Figure:Neca T2 Arnie Figure
Height:7.00 inches
Took a Neca endo skull and mounted it onto and Neca Arnie T2 body. The head still moves side to side like the original. The back of it's head has a large bundle of cables made from the ammo belt of a T:Salvation T1. The hands are held on by rare earth magnets, one alternate hand is a claw from a Darkness figure. I took some liberties with this figure as in the comics he was always kinda lame looking, this is more a mix between the normal GR and the 2099 one. The chain is a bunch of cheap chains pieced together. I may make flames for it in the future. The flames are made of hot glue with several coats of Tamiya clear yellow and orange paints. The shotgun was a last minute addition (literally) while typing this. It is from the T2 Arnie figure with the flame being from the ML Marvel Girl.

that is a keeper for sure! somewhere R.B. is shedding a tear when he saw this and said, "dammit boy, why didn't I think of this? I wouldn't have had to sculpt the whole thing!"

I actually did some sculpting with the hobby knife while the glue was hot as it kept wanting to fall over so I'd sculpt and use it to hold it up.

Cool! For the flames, I found either trimming bits of various flames/supergluing them together by hand (guiding them with the edge of a hobby knife) works best. For the idea pre-made flame, check out any of the flexible rubber head/neck flames found on Johnny Storm FF figures - any one of them would look perfect on this guy.

I have the parts to make another. The hands won't be the same though.

Yeah I'm still practicing with the flames, it's not as easy as I thought for the head. The hands were pretty easy.

That's pretty cool man, love the look of the actual figure but I think a bit more work on the flames on his head would be good (if you painted it blue it could be future marge), as I said though I do think he's cool looking!!
