He survived the bombs, the raiders, the fallout, and even traveling through the burnt out radioactive ruins of America's cities. He beat the radiation induced cancers. He is simply known by the younger people as The Survivor. He fought to try and carve out a zone of safety for others like him and in the end he succeeded but at a cost. He lost his legs and arm to the cancers and violence. His new legs, taken from a first generation cybernetic soldier's corpse in the ruins of a hospital, don't work as well as they would have if he'd known how to properly install them. The new arm, pieced together from various artificial arms he found over the years, may fit poorly but it is able to snap a neck without a problem. He found the old wheelchair in the ruins of a nursing home when he was younger and for some reason kept it. He later found the remains of an urban assault drone and pieced them together back when he was able to walk, knowing he may need it in his old age or just for transport. Despite his arguments the monument that they are building in his honor features what everyone remembers: the Old Man...The Survivor on his motorized chair fighting raiders at the age of 90...ancient for these modern days.

I got the figure and chair from a trade for another project but the man's amputated leg inspired me. I used sculpty to make the parts connecting cybernetics to flesh to represent the badly colored parts you put the stumps of limbs in on modern fake parts. The legs are from a T:salvation t600. I repainted the clothing and painted it to look like metal is old and rusty. The fake arm is painted to represent something he just found and had attached to his body. The tank part is from a T:salvation T1 as is the mini gun and the arms of the chair are part of them too. I lost one set of tank treads but figured that after so long he'd have had to make his own from whatever he could find so I used sheet styrene. The shotgun is from a "The Corps" toy set. I cut off his one leg at the knee and at the hip, having to angle it apart slightly so both legs feet just right.

Needs some controls or something to show how he drives the chair.
