Since the Tar Monster has made several appearances in Scooby-Doo media (the original series, a direct-to-video film, the live-action sequel and a couple of video games), I thought he would be an appropriate addition to my custom Scooby collection. Plus, my nephews really wanted me to make this guy.
The base figure (McFarlane's Vandalier) had to have parts removed, be sanded down, plastered over with Fix-It Epoxy Clay, given a flat marble eye and painted with glass black enamel.
