This is 2-D Man, rip-off of Mr. Fantastic. He is leader of the Terrific Trio, a team of scientists accidentally exposed to high levels of radiation during a particle fusion experiment causing their DNA to undergo dramatic genetic changes. He is the oldest of the group, and is now completely flat, hence the name "2-D". He can stretch his body to amazing lengths and even stretch himself out like a trampoline. He never "reverts" to his original form, so he is always abnormally tall and flat.
This took me about 2 days to make; I used "bendy" sculpey and the wire ties that come in the action figure boxes. I only painted on his facial features, hair, and chest "Terrific Trio" symbol. I also included an action figure sized action figure of 2-D Man made completely out of bendy sculpey, just like in the Batman Beyond t.v. show. I drilled holes in his backside all over his body but it still doesn't quite stay posed. He curves well, but does not take sharp folds (he'll break). His arms/feet actually broke off in the oven, so I had to super-glue them back on.
You can expect the rest of the Terrific Trio in the coming weeks!
