Have you always wondered where those hordes of nameless drones come from for your favorite heroes to dispatch in a few comic book panels? Meet the Ninjas of the Fodder Clan.
Fodder Clan Ninjas follow the ancient traditions of strength through numbers. Breeding, not training, is stressed in their ranks, and they breed like rabbits! Members of this clan are much sought after in the underworld as cheap fighting forces. While they are often arrayed with many exotic weapons, their focus on spawning the next generation leaves little time for actual training before they are hired off to organizations like AIM, Cobra and The Foot.
These guys were an exercise in troop building for me and are a pair of Scorpions and a pair of Sub Zeros from Mortal Combat. I simply added the "bug eye" reflectors with a little Apoxie and a coat of paint and I have cool looking ninja warriors for any of my heroes to fight! Most of the weapons even came with them, but the chain was from a Spawn, and the axes came from Buffy and Faith figs.
My point with them was to have an easily reproducible set of ninjas that could be displayed with anyone.
These ones will be off to join the foot clan soon. :-)
