This Destroyer is from the alternate-reality of Marvel MAX. The 1940's character, The Destroyer, is still-active but elderly the Destroyer (Keene Marlowe) discovers he has a limited amount of time before he will suffer a fatal heart attack, and sets out to kill his old enemies and anyone else who might threaten his African-American wife, who has a bionic arm, or their grown daughter. After being given another chance at life, he turns over the costume of the destoryer to his African-American superpowered son-in-law to carry on the name...
I really like the concept of an aging hero.. I have been making a lot of them lately.The great thing about this figure was it was all made of scraps from my " boneyard"
Powers and abilities
Keene Marlow (his first name slightly different from the earlier comics' "Keen") is enhanced by a Super Soldier serum variant, similar to the one used to create Captain America (Steve Rogers), but lacking the vita ray treatment.
