| Traditional Ninja Custom Action Figure | | I had this head from a LOTR easterling figure laying around for a while and always thought it would make a good ninja head. So I jumped at the chance to make a custom for this contest. I really wanted a realistic looking traditional ninja, but I wanted to make it versatile enough to double as a general "martial artist." Anyways I used the Marvel Legends Namor figure, removed the vest and added those pink pointy things. I carved the feet for the split toe shoes, used shorts from a Sigma Six "Hi-Tech" figure and shirt from some wrestling figure. I carved down and wrapped the head, forearms, and calves with ribbon and used thread on the feet. My original plans were a little more ambitious than the outcome as I have run short of time, I originally wanted two interchangeable heads with one at least resembling the late Bruce Lee. Of course I have not found a suitable head to fit the scale, still looking....I also wanted to put some exotic oriental tattoos on the torso as well as make some grappling claw gloves and some other minor gear and additions. Anyways, here is the almost finished product. Hope you like! |

 As always your figures are amazing. The ribbon idea was excellent it gives a certain look and feel that sometimes is better than sculpting and the clean and exact way the were placed makes this figure distintive I was not a member of this site when this contest was voted on but if I were your figure would have gotten my vote. As always with awe I salute you and your work. |
