I figured I was lacking a damsel in distress character for my Turtle characters...so I set to work trying to find something for an April figure. Well I scoured around and luckily found a DCU Black Canary...she was the right heighth and I liked the jacket look.
I always liked the Red Sky episodes of Ninja Turtles with April doing freelance work...well I liked her appearance anyways. She finally got rid of the ridiculous yellow banana suit. So I kind of played off her look from those episodes. Sculpted the pants, painted the hair, tried painting the shirt a different color, but black seemed to look the best so I stuck with that one. Mostly the figure was just a repaint...added the belt and pouch from my random box...and that was about it...
