Red Norvell gained Thor's power, and ended up fighting the Thunder God, before becoming his trusted ally. I think this was Marvel's attempt at depicting Thor as he is in classic paintings of Norse mythology. But instead of changing the classic Kirby look, they just gave it to a Thor analogue. Too bad Red wasn't popular enough to stick around; he's been moth-balled for years.
For this figure, I went with the Lord of Asgard Thor for the top half and cape. The hammer is also from LOA Thor, with a modified handle. The legs are from a box set Venom. The fur on the kilt/skirt thingee, as well as portions of the boots, are from the back of Kraven's vest. Rubber bands finished the boots, and pieces of rubber bungee cord make up the kilt.
