Nathan Garrett, aka the villainous Black Knight, was a member of the Masters of Evil. They clashed many times with the Avengers. Garrett was mortally wounded in battle, and on his deathbed, passed on the mantle of the Black Knight to his heroic nephew, Dane Whitman.
First of all, I have to say I owe a debt of thanks to FigureRealm for the inspiration for this figure. I saw loosecollector's version and was blown away by it! Here's my attempt... The base is, of course, Hobgoblin. The boots are from Ultimate Doc Ock, and the kilt is from Dr. Strange. The helmet, believe it or not, is made from Bishop's shotgun holster. I liked the contour of it, and its flexibility. I was considering making it removable, but I wanted to try something different. Underneath the helmet is a portion of Namor's head, mainly the eyes. The see-through visor was made from clear plastic, surrounded by a rubber band. The lance was a paint-brush, with a metal circular piece glued on. I threw on a couple of buttons on the lance so the Black Knight could adjust the settings, lethal or non-lethal power blast(power blast not included)! Photos by Nara. Thanks for stopping by!
