Allon-ze! ;) David Tennant as the 10th incarnation of "The Doctor". With his multi-series run on Doctor Who concluded with the Russel T. Davies era, I felt I should post the super-articulated, DCUC-scale version of my favorite 'Doctor. He was made last year, and was on display at 4C8B Comics & Games, and later at FANEXPO 2009 in Toronto, Canada.
Recipe:
-Movie Masters Joker Goon (main body, minus lower arms, feet, neck, head & jacket)
-Doctor Who 10th Doctor - pinstripe suit version (head, lower arms/hands/sonic screwdriver, suit jacket)
-NECA 'The Spirit' feet(shoes were dremmeled down to scale from the back-forward)
-McFarlane street-stand base (from a military figure)
-Aves Sculpt (all pin-joints sculpted over, collar/tie, some hair tweaking)
-Vallejo paints and matte varnish
The figure maintains all of the articulation of the Movie Masters Joker goon base figure, while fudging the scale a little so that I have a normal sized Doctor Who figure, which displayed alongside Marvel Legends, or other 6" scale figures.
A custom of Freema Agyeman as Martha, and a concept custom of David Tennant as the Riddler.
In my mind, he'll always be "The Doctor". Most people who liked/likes Doctor Who have one actor who really peaked their interest in the show. For me that's David Tennant. Glad you like him guys - both the figure and the character. ^_^
