I just wanted a modern(ish) Iron Man to go in my display. This is just a mish mash of House of M, Modern Armour, Movie and Hasbro 2 pack Iron Man. I used Tamiya clear red over several shades of silver to get the metallic finish, and gold (rather than transparent yellow on silver) for the other parts to get (what I think is) a nice contrast between different kinds of metal. I thought that the metallic red was too bright and shiny to fit in with the rest of my collection, so I gave parts of it a black wash to bring the gloss down and to give it a more mechanical feel.
Been lookin' for you all over until I remember it was here where I saw your work first. We need to get back in touch. We have some comic business to do. Remember.
