I'm a big fan of Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen and especially Devastator. As soon as the figure was released I knew I had to get it and paint it.
Each individual Constructicon was based black using Games Workshop Chaos Black and painted using a variety of Games Workshop Paints.
To give them the muddy look they were washed using Games Workshop Graveyard Earth.
Overall I am very happy with how it turned out!!

Top notch dude! Very nice paint job here! If you wanted to do risen mud and debri on him it might help filthy him up a bit and further the realism even more, but again, great job here and I certainly don't think you need to. A mix of cornstarch and puzzle sealer applyed to the figure around the treads, wheel wells and other appropriate places gives a very realistic look, bonds great and is super durable once dry and painted. We did one and used this technique, you can check him out here and lemme know what you think:
