James "Bucky" Barnes, Captain America's WWII sidekick, was long thought dead, until he turned up as the mysterious Soviet assassin, the Winter Soldier. Thanks to Cap's assistance, he was able to break free of his programming, and return to the side of the angels.
For this figure, I used Punisher for the body. I carved grooves in the left arm to make it 'robotic'. The head and belt are from Bucky (of course!). I altered the head slightly by adding more hair. The rest of the pieces are from the fodder bin. Photos by Nara.
