As with a lot of customizers I've always wanted a cool Juggernaut custom. Because the Toybiz Juggernaut looks cool but is missproportioned and extremely expensive. Then the question is what scale to make him? I wanted him bigger than the Toybiz Juggernaut but I thought most of the BAF characters were too big to fit in with the Marvel Legends line. Then I saw Madtinker's Juggernaut and was blown away and decided I wanted one like his. First I had problems finding what I needed at the right price but then all of the sudden they all fell in my lap. Even got a casted head and helmet and Hulk arms from Scottrooper (thanks a million). So I started.
I used Madtinker's recipe for the legs using Maestro's feet and thigh while inserting Abomination's calf. The only difference in mine is that I opted to use Abominations's knee. It added alittle height and made his legs look more massive. Then I used Maestro's pelvis and I extended his torso to give him more height. Sculpted his chest and shoulder armor. Ripped out the Maestro's neck peg and added a ball joint so Juggy can look in any direction. The only alteration I made to his costume was to add the collar around his head. I think it makes him look kinda like a football player but most importantly it breaks up the circular design of his helmet so he doesn't look so dumb without his helmet. To change up his head alittle I dremeled off his hair and sculpted his skullcap. I looked at a lot of reference pics of Juggy and I think he looks crazier with no pupils like how Jim Lee draws him so I just left his eyes all white.I sculpted his arm, wrist, and hand bands. Lastly I sculpted over his entire boot section and made his feet bigger. Painted him with browns, oranges and red. Added tin blitz on his helmet and armored parts. He stands at a little over 8 inches tall making him the perfect scale. Sorry to be so wordy. Hope you guys like him. Thanks for looking.
