John Steele was originally a WWI hero. He had super human strength and had highly resistant skin, much like Luke Cage. Steele also fought during WWII along side of Nick Fury and the Howling Commandos. For this figure I went off of a very poor picture of him from the Marvels Project series. I took the upper body of a DC Classics Metamorph series Orion and combined it with the lower body of the Nemesis/Holocaust series Punisher. The head came from the Marvel 2-pack series Nick Fury. For the accesories I used the WWII Captain America harness and helmet. The grenade I picked up at an antique store. I know the eyes need some help,but I have yet to figure out how to get them right. Any suggestions are welcome. Hope you like the figure inspite of the eyes.
