I like what Michael Bay did with the Transformers. He made them real living beings, mechanical beast capable of exploring all areas of space time without organic limitations. This is Kathogan, part of a group of early Cybertronians used to explore new worlds. These missions require intelligence, durability, and above all an intimidating presence and display of power if need be.
I got a deal on every figure from the Spawn Cyber Units series and a few of the Interlink 6 robots. I took them all apart and made robots that are more monstrous then human.

The construction choices are beautiful. You really know your way around getting parts to look coherent together, and I can't spot any binding materials at all, which surprises me a little seeing as you must have effectively taken these things piece for piece apart. My one disappointment is the paint scheme... I woulda liked it to be more one- or two- colored, instead of gray, silver, black, and brown base with green, light green, and red accents... it feels like, for a form that flows together so well, the actual color scheme is kinda random. Otherwise great show.

With that arm cannon he would have made a good megatron too. I actually like some of the spawn figures for transformers. I'm going to go to a collectible shop next month and see if I can find some cheap.
