I like what Michael Bay did with the Transformers. He made them real living beings, mechanical beasts capable of exploring all areas of space time without organic limitations. This is ZillaQ, part of a group of early Cybertronians used to explore new worlds. These missions require intelligence, durability, and above all an intimidating presence and display of power. These are the good guys.
I got a deal on every figure from the Spawn Cyber Units series and a few of the Interlink 6 robots. I took them all apart and made robots that are more monstrous then human.

I think you should have done more to make this figure unique--all I think is Interlink 6 Spawn when I look at him, nothing else. A new paint job or more added parts would make a big difference and drive home the idea that's it's a new character.
