That's not exactly a custom, but a paint job.
It is a model kit of the ALIEN from "Independence Day (ID4)" which I assembled months ago and only now I got painted.Materials: Superglue and matte vinylic paint.
Major painting technique: Drybrushing.
Note that on one of the sides I did a yellow drybrushing effect to emulate the sunset light on the alien. I am not sure if that is visible on the photos, but it looked very cool in person…

They never really showed it. Anyone else think these things kinda look like rip offs of the aliens from War of the worlds.
