Hey again!
This baby was in my que for a while--from the moment I say a picture. I love how nuts this character is normally, and so I was seriously juiced when I saw he was gonna go completely off the deep end in this Blackest Night gig!
I took a DC Supes and scultped the wrist braces, the belt, boots, and part of the Red Lantern Logo so it would be raised in relief. I then primed the whole figure--these figures are known for serious joint paint rub. Next I chopped off some hair, including the trademark 'S' curl, followed by a resculpt of some hair for the right 'spikey' look. Then I painted and...BAM! Instant RAGING GUY GARDNER! Enjoy! I love the face colors hair and symbol. great detail on the rings!! you just gave me great inspiration I was going to convert my guy gardner but since he's rare I guess I'll just make one from a superman, good idea
