Okay so honestly I hated how all my previous Turtles came out (Leo, Raph and Donnie at least) so I said forget that, let's start these over from scratch. So I began with Leonardo. I sanded away his mask and re-painted the head, mainly because I just never really understood the purpose of the masks (well I guess when they're all drawn the same it helps...but otherwise...never understood them). Originally I was planning on doing a Same As It Never Was (One of the darkest episodes ever for a Sat morning cartoon, but decided I wanted to go a completely different route, but there is a huge scar cut into the top of the head that was left from the original plans...I just kinda liked it, so it stayed.) Leonardo, from the the 2003 series...didn't happen. Instead this is what came out.

I used the Wraarl body, but repainted the shin and arm guards with a brown and a blue (he's still Leonardo after all), and was about to cut the spikes off the arm but thought back to Batman Begins and kinda liked how the gauntlets could be used as weapons...so I kept them. I sculpted on the plastron and attached the shell (from some old...old Ninja Turtle, as are the fingers and toes figure) using Apoxie. The head and swords are from the TMNT Movie Leo. The belt is actually a Rocksteady belt, and the thigh pouch is from a Dante's Inferno figure. Apart from that it was all just paint.

I'm still not 100% satisfied with the outcome, but I like it substantially more than the original Leo I did.
