Raised by Darth Vader, The Apprentice, (code named "Starkiller"), had one ultimate goal… to assassinate the Emperor, giving Darth Vader the chance to rule the galaxy. However, the Emperor discovered this plan, and forced Vader to kill the apprentice. This is where he finds himself now… on the run. Traveling mostly through desert and similar dry terrain, The Apprentice equips himself with a thrown together survival pack, as well as a side bag for food, and a custom desert blaster. Being extremely well trained in the force, The Apprentice is fearless in his lone travels, using his powers and his lightsaber skills to ward off any passing trouble.
My second completed figure, this really turned out to be a success. I really enjoyed adding the LED effect to top off the whole thing - gave me a good design challenge. The whole figure ended up taking about 26hrs or so. Hope you like it. Thanks!

FIGURE
Body: DCU Forager
Head: WWE Randy Orton
The entire figure was sculpted from the head down (FIXIT). For the straps & belts I used a mixture of leather and sculpt. Did a full paint job on the entire figure using mostly leather, black, light skin tone, silver, and insignia red (Model Master Acryl). Has alternate fists and a bionic left hand (from Mr.Sinister - cut & sculpted).

Custom Blaster Connector (made to latch on)

BLASTER
Fodder gun cut and repainted to fit the design.

LIGHTSABER
Handle was from a Steppenwolf whip. Saber was custom built from a clear hair chopstick. Used the dremel to shave it down to the perfect size (about a 3hr process for the lightsaber)

LED Design
Made by custom fitting a small LED into the wrist (by carefully dremeling a groove to fit) and wrapping with small string (similar to the lower legs) to hide. The connecting wires were then soldered and shrink-wrapped to additional wire (cable from a standard phone cord) that fed into the custom backpack - holding the batteries (held in by a custom sculpt job) and the switch, that can be switched on and off from the back of the pack.
