Hiya fellow customizers!
I made this Luke Cage last year during the Xmas holiday. I just didn't have time to put it up on the realm. Luke is made from a Star Trek DS9 head, I had to chop his neck off and dremel a hole inside his head to make a nice ball joint for neck articulation. the base body is from some random WWE/TNA wresting figure I picked up for a few dollars. I thought it was a nice size for Cage making him a little taller than the other Marvel Legends. Most other bits and pieces were sculpted with FIXIT! (YEAH I FINALLY GOT SOME FOR MY 11th Bday!!!! THIS STUFF IS SWEET). For the belt I carved out the letters CAGE with scalpel (man those things are sharp). and just a random chain.
Paint-wise the pants and shoes are matt black, the skin is my own blend, and the shirt man I hate painting yellow...I can never get it to cover properly. I used a basecoat for yellow, then did several thin layers of gamesworkshop yellow and it still looked gross. So finally I gave it a coat of acrylic yellow from tamiya..now its to glossy. Anyone have any tips on how to paint yellow nicely?
Anyways, this is the final product I hope you all like it..Let me know what you think. Any tips will be much appreciated.
