This is a Doctor Who TARDIS Playset that I merely customized to look a bit more authentic and photo-worthy.
The first obvious addition is the walls that don't originally exist with the store-bought set. The template for these can be found online. I had to print out about 13 of these to cover the entire back-side of the set. The second addition is the cables hanging from the ceiling. These were made with rubber and leather cords I picked up from Hobby Lobby. I attached these to a thin wire which is wrapped around the top of the center console
The third addition which took a bit more time and patience was the replacement of the floor panels which used to be cardboard slats. I replaced them with a wire mesh (also from Hobby Lobby) which was cut in the proper shapes and inserted in the existing frame.
The lighting is created with battery powered touch-lights and the wire mesh allows for a unique lighting effect. I also added to the hanging cables small clips and binders using sculpey and one side of a metal sewing machine bobbin.
MAJOR APPLAUSE FOR A GREAT JOB!!!
you have spured me on to tinker with mine( TARDIS play set that is )
