There's not much left of J'onn J'onzz underneath all that sculpt and paint, but this base figure was the largest in the series to make Gorgon.
A piece of clamshell plastic was cut and fitted over the shoulders. Sculpt work was then done overtop to create the clothing piece. Having the plastic as base kept the clothing in shape (while sculpting) and also helped retained articulation in the shoulders (by separating the apoxie from being applied directly to the figure). Replaced the hands from a WWE, used a collar from Spawn, and the hooves from a Mcfarlane Dojo. The hard part was trying to attach the hooves in such a way that still allowed the figure to stand upright on its own. Some minor sculpt in the heels to balance it out. Will have Medusa ready by the break of dawn!
