Hasbro did produce a bunch of Ultimate Wolverine figures throughout the years, but I was never satisfied with any one of them.
This custom figure was inspired by the Joe Madureira's stunning art in ¡§The Ultimates 3¡¨. In order to capture that remarkable Mad's drawing style, I used the Sota SF - Akuma figure as base.
The hairs were sculpted from Magic-Sculpt. I peg those holes of joints. I had to sculpt the costume details as shown in Ultimates 3, such as belt & boot. I also use plastic folks for the claws.
It was a simple custom work but lots of fun.
