White Tiger Custom Action Figure

WELL...Greymonk...the crossed fingers were part of the figure...on that ML silver surfer...the white paint was sprayed using white spray paint, I didn't do any airbrushing on this figure..it was one of my first creations. Hell yes the AMULETS ARE CRAPPY!!!! lmao!!

My favorite part is the crossed fingers. What a nice touch that could so easily have been left out by someone in a hurry. It's those kind of details that make you a customizer, the sculpting will come with practice! oh and I agree with Doc, the white paint is very smooth, did you airbrush that? if not, what sort of brush did you use?

hey I agree, the amulets were crappy(another name for DOODOO) LMAO! I did this figure not long after the LEGENDS came out and was first trying to do customs. I had never even heard of sculpey or apoxie or anything.I had used clay before, but it always cracked. So, I just cut the amulets out of some paper. I took the LOW road, I know. I didn't really know what the hell I was doing. I barely could paint! But you are right Ferret, if I were to redo it over, I would use your suggestions to a T. But you know, I just wanted to show the good folks one of my first customs. I think this was my 2nd custom ever. My 1st custom was a Hercules...I always wanted a Hercules but never saw one as a figure, so I made me one. You want to see something to really laugh at, you should see the photo of that thing! Hercules is almost 4 years old now! LOL! I'm almost ashamed to post it, what if the guy who won the thing from me on a website sees it? He really thought it looked cool at the time. Somebody said it looked like a bear!

Hey ignore the bad comment guys its not worth mentioning. The figure itself is great the amulet needs a little practice. I know its a hard one I have tried several times and I am still not happy with mine. Using SS was a stroke of inginuity and you have done an excellent job the blue wash is a nice subtle touch that makes it pop. For the amulet try using a few small pieces of Sculpty and a pick it might help you get the resul tour looking for. I do have to say I like the color of the amulet you have now so try and use that cause its very nice.
