I just like the old look of Rachel Summers from Excalibur compared to her new costume now. I just think she has more attitude back then.

- I used ML Wasp fugure and I didn't mind painting her face coz I think that wasp's face is pretty fugly hehehe. The hardest part was making the spikes on her costume. I rolled out small balls of expoxy clay and used that to stick some metal pointed beads use for bead jewelry making. Then sculpted some hair matching my old comics. Painted her hair flat red and her costume glossy red and added some smoke for highlights.

I think the problem is that with the silver bordered by blck it looks like shes wearing a pair of those big glasses. Maybe a darker color would work better, grey perhaps, maybe orange?
Anyhow, it looks great. You did a good job painting and sculpting

I painted the eyes yellow and then painted the borders of the eyes silver to give it a glowing look. Actually it took me the longest time to decide what color to give the eyes. I thought of coloring it white (but it was too plain)....then gold (but it didn't give off that glowing feel coz it doesn't pop up)....so I just threw caution to the wind and colored it yellow with silver background just to get it over with hehehehe..... anyways I hope you like her coz I rarely see customs of her made Thanks for your comments and for viewing...it is highly appreciated!

Very cool I like the costume and the hound lines but something is a tad off to me on the eyes. Good use of the body though I think I will feret this idea away. Spikes look pretty good too.
