Darna Custom Action Figure

She is Darna. A very famous superhero in the Philippines and has been a big part of Philippine Pop Culture. She was first created as a comic book character in the 1950's and has have had many incarnations along the years in Comics, Movies and recently a TV series. Darna's powers include flight, super strength, super speed and near-invulnerability. I included pics of her various "incarnations." the LEFT part of the pic is from her recent TV series and some recent comic book covers and the RIGHT part of the pic is composed of her various costumes along the years.

I'm really proud of her because it is my first time to do a whole face and body paint. The hardest part was painting the eyes and the eyelashes and I'm happy that she turned out what I wanted her to look like. I trimmed of the sides off elektras hair and sculpted the side part of her headress. I also sculpted the winged oval in front of her headress. I also sculpted her bracelets and made her golden belt from sculpy and plastic beads. I used spiderwoman's boots and psylock's hands since I had to use elektra's articulated hands for another custom hehehe. I hope you like her.
