I have been wanting to do something a bit different with Captain America,so I thought,how about cap on ice?I took an ultimate captain america body,sculpted new gloves,shield,and various other parts,head swapped for what I think is the alt head for ronin,removed his eyes and made new closed ones.I gave him a new paint job for a brighter color scheme,and gave him a "dirty" paint wash,to make it look like he had survived an explosion,I thinned and colored some craft foam for his tattered army uniform,next was the hard part,the "ice". I took about 32 ounces of liquid plastic and made several layers while embedding him,so I could more easily control the placement of air bubbles,I also had to make a custom mold box so it would really look like ice.This is the first super poseable figure I have made that you can't pose!I really tried to make this look as close to the orignal comic drawings as possible,Thank for looking and I hope you like it!(it was very difficult to photograph this one because captain americas image changes when you view him at different angles,fyi)
