This is probably my most detailed figure to date so I figured he was well worth putting into this contest since he is from a movie (Repo! The Genetic Opera) and he is detailed to the point were this is what I would like to see if they ever mass produced figures for this movie.
The base body is Mattel's Chris Jericho with sculpt on the arms to make them look like he has a jacket on. I also sculpted the torso to get the look for the shirt and undershirt, tie and belt with big buckle. I sculpted very carefully so that the figure retained it's articulation. I also had to sculpt the front part of the boots so that they look like they do in the movie. The jacket is plastic and from an old Jakks WWF Edge figure.
Had the most difficult time with the paint job. Especially on the jacket since it was a different kind of plastic that didn't take paint too well. Used the leather color with a wash of gun metal to get the effect on the boots. The zydrate gun is from ML Punisher just cut up and superglued and painted.
The graverobber bag is a cut up woman's shoe with tshirt material holding together the leather pieces. Took some time to get this right and cutting leather is a pain! But it is all worth it to get it to open up just like the movie. Inside are nails to represent the needles he uses in the gun.
So here we have it. Repo!'s Graverobber...and he made a great birthday present!
