I originally picked up this figure to use as a base for He-Man custom, but when building my Power Armour Lex Luthor, I realised it would make a perfect base for Superman.
My favourite DC story is Kingdon Come, I really liked the darker suit Superman wore. I always wondered why he never wore a suit like it in the regular comics, so here is a younger Superman in the Kingdom Come Suit. I've left the laces on the boots as I feel it gives the figure more of a "real world" look, like combat boots instead of riding boots
I used the head of a Ed McGuiness Superman and painted the eyes red, I wanted him to have an angry look.
