I'm surprised no one tried this guy yet.
Tai Kaliso from Gears of War 2
Tai has to be my favorite character from the game and I've planing this project for quite a while. He was made from my series 2 Gears of War Dom figure. I took off his knife, belt and gun holster on his chest then took some extra pouches from my Marcus and Baird and put them on him.
I repainted his face and arms, which I also modified (I didn't like the ball jointed elbows) with parts from my movie Ghost Rider shoulders, and carefully painted the tattoos on his arm and face. I carved his mohawk from Dom's hair and repainted.
The shoulder pad was difficult. I used Dom's belt for the strap and used a Theron Guard shoulder pad for the underlying pad. The shield like pad is some Lego parts that have been modifyed, battle damaged, and painted then glued to the Theron pad.
I am currently looking for a better head and arms and I am planing to modify the waist/thigh joints.
