The “mysterious” leader of the Dark Reign Thunderbolts, Scourge who turned out to be the villain Nuke was built to be the ultimate soldier by being cyberized little by little until nothing that was the human Frank Simpson remained. During Norman Osborn’s Dark Reign “Scourge” was put in charge of the Thunderbolts after it discovered that Yelena Belova, Black Widow II was actually Natasha Romanova, Black Widow I spying on the Thunderbolts for Nick Fury. A fractured mind, intense army / weapons training, and an almost indestructible powerful cyborg body makes “Scourge” a threat to anyone who might stand in his way be it friend or foe.
I had this custom finished a year ago; I had hoped to make all the DR Thunderbolts for a Customcon, but Dark Reign ended and so did my ambition to complete this team. So it’s Scourge, Ghost, and Mr. X for the time being.
This Scourge / Nuke custom was made from 95 % HML Ultimate Nick Fury, LH Judge Dread Head with old Terminator pieces fused into it, mask from movie Road Warrior Humongous figure, SMC Mad Jack kneepads, and a slew of weapon fodder attached to make the custom look ready for war.
