By the time Jubilation Lee hit puberty and her powers appeared the X-men had been gone nearly 20 years wiped out by Magneto with the few survivors going into hiding to for a resistance movement. Jubilee ran away from home after having to register as a mutant with Magneto's mutant tracking agency, operating under the guise of protecting mutants he uses it to recruit soldiers and hunt down humans who don't comply with his rules. It was while in the Free Human City-state of Final Haven that she met Patch. No longer going by his names of Logan or Wolverine he had become a mercenary, gun runner, and fighter in the mutant combat pit fights. She's struggled to fight her way to the top and came to face him. He nearly kills her when her "fireworks" accidentally set off the explosive collar that combatants must wear to prevent them from attacking the crowds. She's horrified as a chunk of his head is blown clean off and the medics simply throw his body in a cart and take it to his dressing room.
She is rummaging through his room for items to sell at the market when she comes across a false wall. Inside it are mementos of his past, including his old X-Men uniform. She doesn't get long to look at the items before he awakes in a rage and as he is about to strike her down he suddenly has a flashback as she holds the uniform against him. In the flashback he sees Kitty Pryde and he staggers back as he returns to normal. From that time on he began to train her, using her being his apprentice in the fights as a cover, and tells her that the survivors of the X-Men are creating two new teams of young mutants and he wants her to be the one he mentors called Gen-X and the other is run by Storm and is called New Mutants and has a girl very much like her named Boomboom as the squad leader. Her outfit is far from what he hopes for but understands that her curves are a strong weapon in the ring. She has made the outfit out of the white labcoat of the Lizard who was mistaken for a mutant and thrown into the games, a Shia'r technology based laptop from Cyclops' father, a pair of hightech inline skates from Forge along with a pair of gloves to help channel her powers and prevent accidents, and she is expecting a pair of sunglasses based on the remains of Cyclops' visor.

I picked her up cheap a while back and it suddenly came to me that she could pass for Jubilee. She's pretty much stock. Her hands are the original gloves but the cuffs are actually the tops of her boots/shoes she came with. The boots are inline skates from a Cammy figure thanks to Blaynescott, the item on her hip is a missile pod from a Transformer that will be serving as a computer/music player. I am still working on coming up with headphones and glasses for her. I left the jacket look very rough as though she'd made it on the spur of the moment not really caring what it looks like thus the X is uneven and the original white shoes through the yellow.

Oh my.
Jubilee certainly has, erm... developed.
Wow, nice work here. I'm interested more in that backstory though. Jubes is one of my favorite characters. Is that from an actual alt comic? If so I need to find it and read it.
