Victoria Von Doom would have been a child prodigy in Latveria, however being from such a poor and underdeveloped country she was not able to harness her intellect until young adulthood. As a young child she was separated from her parents by her country's then despot ruler. Living with gypsies, she studied anything she could, books ranging in subject matter from physics to sorcery. It was during her teen years that she was discovered by a professor traveling through Europe. While at Columbia University, she met another student with an equally brilliant mind named Rita Richards. Although Rita and her friend Benjamina tried to befriend Victoria, she spurned there attempts, thinking that they would attempt steal her research and make it there own. These suspicions were proven true(in her own mind) when she discovered Rita looking over some of her notes. Outraged she chased Rita out her lab, who all the while was trying to tell Victoria that her calculations were in error could prove fatal. Enraged and alone she proceeded with her experiment with disastrous results, destroying her lab and getting expelled from school. Rather than accept blame herself she places it fully on Richards. She resurfaced years later as the new ruler of Latveria, Lady Von Doom, or has her now mortal enemy, Ms. Fantastic, would come to know her as Dr. Doom. Wearing a mask to hide her "horribly" scarred face she is determined to make Ms. Fantastic and her family pay dearly for the grievous wrongs done to her.
I used Kabuki as the base figure, repainted added a small scar to her face, made the cloak, used Iron Fist's collar as the shoulder pauldorns and there she is! I have to say this though, I like the Indie comic spotlight figures, but they are very fragile, I had to repair both of her arms and hands.
