I really liked the galactus build a figure however I did not like that he was shorter than sentinel and roughly the same size as giantman. So my idea was to make him more proportionate and taller without it looking stupid. Overall I added over 2 INCHES to this figure. I started by removing the lower "dress" and sawing it below the belt. I added and inch using 2 part epoxy. I then used my dremel to saw just below the articulation mechanism. I separated the top part, and added another inch giving him a "eight pack" I sculpted the detail to match that of the pattern. In my opinion he needed a new paint job, So I decided to use the original Purple and Blue galactus colors most of us remember from the 90s. For his head, I did a bunch of photo research and realize that his "horns" from his cosmic helmet are supposed to come the the center of the cones @ his temple. they also are a different design. I created these from hard lucite.I also raised the center part of his helmet, for more detail. and height. This is probably my best paint job to date. it gave me a chance to use some awesome colors, shading techniques, and new skills I have picked up along the way. this figure looks absolutely sick in my legends display. I really hope you guys like this one.
