I've wanted to make a figure of Barbara Gordon as Oracle for a while, and bought a loose Psylocke figure a couple of weeks ago. I've seen at least one custom of Babs here on the realm that uses Psylocke as the base, so I figured I could go for it. Almost every Oracle custom uses the wheelchair from Professor X; I don't have that luxury so the wheelchair was build from scratch out of card and spray-painted with Tamiya grey primer. I also don't have glasses to borrow from any other figure, so I made the glasses out of blister packaging plastic. The glasses were the hardes part of the whole custom because of their tininess. I cut off the sash/belt from Psylocke and then filled the gaps with Bondite two-part epoxy putty. I used the putty to create cuffs at the end of her jeans too. Entire figure was repainted, even the face as the flesh tone was a little too pink. The figure is 5.4 inches tall when seated in the wheelchair, and 6 inches tall when standing.
