Hey Guys! It's been a while since I posted & I'll try to catch up on comments in the showcase with all the great figures that are posted to the website. This is one of my latest projects from the AMC show and popular comic Rick Grimes. He is made from a HML Punisher with sculpted hair, beard, belt, pant bottoms, magnetic removable hand. He was given a grimey, gritty paintjob and there you have it. Hope you guys like him because he was a fun project!

Hey guys! Thanks for all the comments and I am very humbled by them all! Below I listed a pic of where I drew most of my inspiration from. Its a picture of the sideshow statue that they made of rick awhile back, hope this helps in explaining the darker hair.

This is great! I am going to do a Rick as soon as I am caught up on my commissions. I think I will go with the blonde version from the covers. Such a great graphic novel!

Man, you gotta read the comic, it's really impressive. Great literature in a zombie comic.

Very nice! I've been thinking about doing some of TWD characters myself, it's the most amazing comic series ever, IMO. Haven't seen the show yet, got rid of cable . I was going to start with Rick or Axel (gotta love Axel), but since my second daughter was born on Halloween, I have NO time whatsoever. Anyway, great work, love it.

Dude this looks awesome. I actually have been wanting to take a crack at the show characters. Rick in his cop uniform. But the only thing that is not cool is I never read the comic books. So you spoiled the no hand look for me. I didn't know Rick was going to loose his hand. Sniff, Sniff.

Thanks guys!
@getsa.. Hey bro, I tried to mash up the comic and TV version for the hair color. His hair is dark brown in the show and the pics make it look darker than it really is. He has light brown highlights over top of his hair. Hope this helps explain why I went with this color.
Thanks again bud!

holy!?! it's rick! haha! you beat me to it! I've been reading the comics and it's by far one of the best series I've read... although if I remember it right, rick's hair is blonde (I think I saw a colored cover of him where his hair is blonde) I don't know. but I haven't seen the live series yet, maybe his hair is really black.
I've been thinking about making a rick figure these past few days, and I'm wondering why nobody else is doing it. but now, here it is!
I love how you've made his right arm detachable so you can have a normal rick when he still has his hand. love the paint and the blood splatters too. I love this figure man! thumbs up!
oh.. and can you give him a small axe please?
