This is my own original character. Basically, what I did was carve the details on the figure ( S on chest, stripes on legs, etc, I also trimmed the top of his boots and the belt buckle) on a DCU Superman figure. Then I removed the cape and filled in the hole on the back with apoxy.
I applied a base coat of black and replaced the head with a DCU Superman blue, and repainted it with my own mix of colors to create a gray/blue skin tone. Then I painted the eyes in gloss black, also I mixed some blue and silver for the metallic look on the rest of the figure.
This custom is good.
