Triton was pretty simple initially; the head & body came together really quickly. The body's ML10 Cyclops, with Luke Cage legs from the lower knee down, and a Savage Dragon head. Modded the head with green stuff, added a styrene fin on his back, and bob's yer uncle.
The breathing apparatus was a pain, though. I got the basics worked out, using silicon tubing threaded through styrene tube couplings. The first lot of silicon was black - I thought I'd paint it using latex, but nothing would stick. Then I got some clear, again, nothing would stick. I even used a pink sharpie, but that flaked off when dry. Ended up taking some fine cable, taking the wire core out, and threading that through. I quite like how it turned out. It's only fixed at the couplings, so the articulation's more or less unhindered. I lost some motion in the waist, and a tiny bit in the wrists and biceps, but otherwise he's as posable as ever.
