I wanted a beefy punisher, and I wanted to do in a neca style paintjob. This was a pretty extensive custom.
here is a run down of the parts I used, and how I changed them.
-Head AoA wolverine-cut down hair, resculpted classic frank castle hair. repainted face. created ears w/ sculpey
-body-cut off Xmen logo on chest and belt. resculpted front of pants, sculpted belt, belt loops, and belt buckle with 2 part greenstuff.
- I sculpted realistic knee pads, reminiscent of Swat knee pads.
-I sculpted another leg strap.with belt buckle
-I took the arms from a ML Omega Red, carved off the forearm pads, cut the hands off at the wrist. I then drilled a hole in each arm, and took the hands from a ML cable. I used sculpey to fix the muscle look removed from carving armpads.
- I re-articulated the hands so that they would have deadpool style trigger finger action.
- For the boots, I smoothed over the toe for a steeltoe look. then I smoother over the "tongue" of each boot with sculpey, and added straps.
- I used the existing "straps" from the bishop body, and elaborated on them. I created Formed Gun holsters. They are sculpted around the guns so that they fit in tightly. The guns were from a Whiteys Workshop custom deadpool (thanks bud!)
-The Barbed wire was created using toy pakaging twistys. I made two lengths, wrapped small ammounts of wire and cut. then I glued them in place. once glued in place I twisted the two legnths together. I used sculpey for the gore factor, painted and sealed.
I loved how the paint turned out. I've been using new techniques and trying out sharpie paint pens.
I hope you guys like it. it was fun to make. (leg pocket and custom hunting knife almost complete)
