I couldn't stand the 2008 classics universe Galvatron. It was just terrible to me. My Classics Bumble Bee drop kicks the purple off this figure, making knee and shoulder joints POP off. I found this site and it inspired me to try my first custom, a classics custom Galvatron. His head was the only thing I liked from the figure so I started off by ripping it off. Tossed the rest for future parts. Maybe. Anyway, I had two generations Megatrons and loved the look and how articulated they were. It just so happens galvatron's head fit and replaced Megatron's head pretty well. I then gave him a new cannon using an oversized pen. The rest was just repainting him with acrylic paint. When I was finished I was incredibly juiced on how It turned out. With Megatron's original cybertronian mold, to me, it has a look that unicron might have designed.With more practice painting and more inspiration from amazing customs on this site, I hope to get better and share more with you all. I hope my version of a classics Galvatron earns a spot on this site.
