Since we're doing heroes, here's mine. Real-life Susan L. Therriault, MD, my sweetie. Made as a Christmas present. Susan at the tender age of 30 gave up a comfy life as a teacher to become a doctor. Made from a real-life snowboarder female and Invisible Woman limbs. I molded the hair and built up that proud French-Canadian nose. The skirt was cardboard crinkled into a ring around her ankles, then I draped paper towel in strips from the waist. The blouse is brown coffee filter paper. The belt is a shoelace. The lab coat is from the Disney Atlantis doctor, and the bag and stethoscope from some EMT figure. She's an "action figure" as she swings into action on a call. Though I could have modded a hulu girl for the way she swings her hips. The Hershey's Kiss shows the scale, which is 5 inches, and because she's so kissable.
