Destroyer Custom Action Figure

Custom #:2657
Custom Type:Action Figure
Toy Series:Marvel Legends
Creator:Jin Saotome
Date Added:May 16, 2007
Base Figure:Thorbuster Iron Man
Height:6.00 inches
After not being able to find the ML 15 Variant Destroyer for some time I decided to make my own. My buddy Black Arachnis makes the best recasts of heads and accessories so I purchased the Destroyer head and chestplate to use on my ThorBuster Iron Man. However I've seen pics of the Destroyer and he has extra armored bands along with spikes linging his body. I took Fixit Sculpt and made the bands, then clipping the tips of brad nails to make one hundred steel spikes that line his entire body! He's basically black with airbrushed silver, drybrushed armored steel, and other metallic colors. I love the simplicity of his design and colors.

That is an AWESOME destroyer Jin - its kinda how I remembered it and now you've inspired me to do the same
I got a spare TB Iton man now and I'm gonna turn him into this Badboy
I'll make it a bit more Mythical/Comic fusion perhaps rather than go the straight (and very well accomploshed comic accurate way you have
But man this is absolutely cool

I don't think we have that store in PA! but whats funny is Tuesdays is Senior Citizens day and guys said that stores always full of old ladies! Maybe its a trick to draw in the geatrics community!

Well they have a toy aisle too and it's pretty good deals. I saw several Mojo and MODOK series figs and Kingom Come figures too. I bought an Armored Wonder Woman and a Flash for $7 each.

I didn't mean anything by it, its just that when ever I pass by it its full of old ladies and it looks like it has the kind of junk my Girl like to buy...and we have enough

Oh,!! your made that Destroyer, for a minute I thought you redid that KISS album!
Now that I got that bad joke outta the way I wanna say he looks great! The drybrushing gave him the proper battle worn look that really makes him stand out.
