Next up is Tyr, the Asgardian God of War, in his Modern attire.
You've really got to feel sorry for Tyr. He's like the Salieri to Thors Mozart. Guy spends his entire life battling against Asgards enemies, becoming its most ardent champion and defender, and then Thor is born, and bests him in every way using natural talent.
I feel like whoever "redesigned" Tyr, probably Coipel, got really lazy with him. This is basically exactly the same as his old outfit, except his arms and legs are blue instead of uncovered. And his has a cape. Oh well, he was pretty badass in the same arc that the Disir premiered in, and I had Warpath sitting around so I made him.
He's almost all Warpath except for the head, which is from His left stump is a sharpie pen cap. I decided to do all of his sculpting with greenstuff cause I'm almost out of Aves, and I had a good time with it. I don't think I'd want to try to do really fine detail with it or anything, but it was stiff enough to work really well for these purposes. His loin cloth is also from Heman, though it needed some additional sculpt, his belt is from Wrarrl, which also needed some extra sculpting, his cape is from Valkyrie, and his sword is a modified Conan one. Everything else is sculpt.
I like this guy a lot, especially since I started him about 24 hours ago, and now he's done. I think thats a record for me.
