I'm calling this David Finch's wolverine but I was influenced but a few different artists version of wolverine but I think it definitely looks like a David Finch style wolverine. Not a lot to really tell here I started off sanding down the crazy guile hair so I could replace it with wolverines crazy hair and mutton chops then I added to the brow line for a meaner looking wolverine which was all sculpted from aves apoxie.I also sanded the bottom of the pants to make them look more like jeans along with adding some sculpting details for the jean look.Last but definitely not least my favorite part the real metal claws these I did like my movie version of wolverine and use scrap sheet metal(I uesed the metal case off of a computer)and shaped them with a bench grinder and let me tell you these thing are sharp!!After all that a custom paint job with model master acryl from head to toe inculding mud detail on the boots and BOOM done! This is my new personal favorite right now I love the way this came out its a bigger figure but its still kind of squitty and ripped like wolvie should be and the dog tags where the selling point for me to turn this into a wolverine I even added a pic of him with hellboy for size compariton but manly because there my favorite charaters. So thanks for looking and your comments are always welcome!

When I read the base, I can't believe this, he looks even better than the real figure, he even looks better than the not good version from Marvel select, this is amazing, congrats, excellent in any way. Kudos.

This looks awesome, the head came out great and the claws are mean. I love to look, and try to pick up things from people that can sculpt well. Well done!

very nice work. did you cut away plastic in the knee and hip joints? I always need to when I customize one of the figures

Dude... love it. Probably a touch large for 6" scale, but who says it has to go with 6" figures? The claws are just killer man. I might be interested in seeing if you would make another pair. Man, once again, I love this.
