Beware the Mighty Monarch!

If you've seen the show Venture Brothers, you know who this is already. If not, then what are you waiting for?? It's only the best show on tv right now! Anyway, most of his body came from the Marvel Legends Wasp body. To get rid of the "womenly features", I performed a very gruesome reduction with a dremel sander then hand-sculpted the vest armor overtop. Used some spae shoulder pads and boots from a X-men Classics Storm figure. Originally I was going to use Black Widow's arms but her figure was unavailable at a reasonable cost so I just hand-sculpted the wrist launchers. The head came from a spare Archangel figure with a lot of sculpting work. A complete paint overhaul and the Monarch is ready to take flight.

PS-If you're wondering about the Hulk hand he has in the last picture, watch the second episode from the second season in which The Monarch and his henchmen (21 & 24) plus Dr. Venture must take the flying cocoon back from the grip of a bunch of thugs without any weapons except the collectibles in 21's closet, including one of those cheesy Hulk fists that said "Hulk Smash" whenever you hit something. You know you remember them, they littered the shelves when the god awful movie came out three years ago or so.

Also thanks to all who have showered my previous works with comments and compliments! Kudos to you all!
