Miek Custom Action Figure

The nearly indestructible king of an alien insectoid species native to the planet Sakaar. In his metamorphosed state Miek is extremely strong and has an armored exoskeleton that can withstand blows from the Hulk. Once friend to the Hulk,this bugly creature uses a form of telepathy known as chemming where he can share common memories and experiences. King Miek is responsible for the destruction of Sakaar that brought about the events that led the Hulk and his Warbound, of whom he was a member, to attack planet earth.
I used a marvel zombies picture of Miek as a reference, although I decided to go with the more often seen gray color rather than a brownish tan. Miek was made using a ML First Appearance Gray Hulk as a base. The Legs are from ML Blackheart and the arms are from LCBH Judge Death. The hinge on his shell that allows it to move up and down is from a TMNT, as well as the custom sculpted head. His shell is made of a bubble bath bottle sculpted with Magic Putty and attached with nails and can be moved up, down, and spread apart. The wings are plastic from a milk carton and also swivel out and back. His antennae are from packaging ties, spear was random fodder, and the loin cloth is from a bicycle innertube. Everything that doesn't look like the above figures was sculpted with aves or magic putty and painted with Tamiya paints. Enjoy and thanks for looking. Comments are welcome!
